Who We Are

A design-engineering and manufacturing partner for ambitious interiors

VISO transforms materiality into experience. Working directly with architects, interior designers, lighting designers and developers, our teams translate a design intent into buildable geometry — then fabricate it in-house as custom decorative lighting, architectural metal and polycarbonate features, and natural stone surfaces.

Because engineering, prototyping, finishing and quality control sit under one roof, specifiers keep a single point of accountability from first sketch to site installation. That control is what allows large-format canopies, crystal assemblies and lit stone walls to be delivered on programme, on budget and on brand.

Trusted by studios including AvroKO, II BY IV DESIGN, Studio Paolo Ferrari, Nina Magon Studio, Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry and Lighting Workshop.

How We Work

From design intent to installed feature

A transparent, six-stage workflow built for specifiers who need certainty on tolerances, finishes, compliance and site logistics.

  1. STAGE 01

    Design Intent Review

We interrogate sketches, renderings and reflected ceiling plans, then confirm scale, sightlines, mounting conditions and light quality objectives.

  2. STAGE 02

    Design Engineering & DFM

Shop drawings, structural and electrical detailing, and design-for-manufacture decisions that protect the concept while making it buildable.

  3. STAGE 03

    Prototypes & Mock-ups

Physical samples, finish chips and full mock-ups for approval — so colour temperature, diffusion and detail are signed off before production.

  4. STAGE 04

    Materials & Finishes

Glass and crystal, metal finishes, polycarbonate and slab-matched natural stone, selected for durability in high-traffic commercial interiors.

  5. STAGE 05

    Manufacturing & QA

In-house fabrication with staged inspections, electrical testing and photographic records before crating.

  6. STAGE 06

    Delivery & Site Support

Export documentation, protective packing, sequenced deliveries and installation guidance for trades on site.

Materiality

Material knowledge is the engineering

Every finish behaves differently under light, load and cleaning regimes. We document those behaviours so your specification survives value engineering and long-term operation.

Glass & Crystal

Hand-formed and machined components, tuned for sparkle, diffusion and glare control in dining and lobby environments.

Metal

Brass, bronze, steel and aluminium with plated, patinated and powder-coated finishes engineered for consistency across large assemblies.

Polycarbonate

Lightweight architectural panels and screens that transmit light while meeting impact and safety expectations.

Natural Stone

Marble, onyx and quartzite, slab-matched and translucency-tested for backlit feature walls and reception surfaces.

FAQs

Questions we hear from design teams

Can VISO manufacture a fully custom light fixture from a design concept?
Yes. We start from sketches, renderings or reflected ceiling plans and take the concept through design-engineering, shop drawings, prototyping and in-house manufacturing — so the delivered fixture matches the original design intent, not a catalogue approximation.
Which project types does VISO work on?
Hotels, restaurants and bars, luxury retail and showrooms, residential and condominium interiors, plus corporate and mixed-use developments. Scope ranges from a single statement chandelier to a coordinated package of lighting, metal screens and stone features.
Which materials can you fabricate and finish?
Glass and crystal components, metal in plated, patinated and powder-coated finishes, architectural polycarbonate panels and screens, and natural stone for feature walls, cladding and backlit surfaces. Sample sets and finish chips are provided for approval.
Do you support projects outside North America?
Yes. With teams in Toronto, Miami, Lisbon, Riyadh and Dubai, we coordinate engineering, production, export documentation, freight and installation support for projects across North America, Europe and the Middle East.
How are lead times and site sequencing handled?
Lead time depends on scope, material availability and approval cycles. We issue a production schedule tied to drawing and mock-up sign-off dates, then align crating and delivery with your construction sequence so components arrive when the site is ready for them.
What is available to help evaluate VISO before specifying?
Review completed work in Projects, material behaviour in Materials, and documentation in Downloads and Resources. Commercial terms and warranty information are covered in our Terms and Conditions.
